It uses mantra (assigned to the individual) to charm the mind and support a more effortless, transcendent, and immersive experience. Vedic Meditation works by de-exciting the nervous system and mind.

From this place fatigue and stresses are naturally and progressively cleared from the body taking you to a state of deep rest and restoration that is on average 2-5 times deeper than sleep!
